Here are just a few quick facts about our fabulous condo. 


Community

Kids: Children of all ages are welcome.

Pets: A maximum of two pets are allowed per unit and are limited to cats and dogs. There is no weight or size limitation for either. 

Events: We have at least one community event each year. 

Committees: We have active committees based on community-building and communications. 


Amenities

Concierge: We do not have a concierge.

Gym: We have a fully equipped gym that includes cable TV and free WIFI.

Pool: We do not have a pool.

Party room:  Known as the Club Room, our party facility accommodates up to 50 people. It has a pool table, a fully equipped kitchen, tables and chairs, cable TV, DVD player, and couches. Free WIFI is available.

Guest suite: The Guest Suite accommodates up to two adults and two children. It has a queen size bed, a full four-piece bath, a sitting area, cable TV, and kitchenette. The rental includes access to a parking space and free WIFI. 

Visitor Parking: A limited number of visitor parking spots are available in the underground garage on a first come, first served basis. There is street parking available on neighbouring streets and a pay lot at the neighbouring rental building. 

Outdoor space: There is a lovely back garden with a gazebo for shared enjoyment.

BBQs: Yes! You can have a propane barbeque on your balcony. We do not have a shared barbeque. 


Building Facts

Smoking: The Parkside was designated a smoke-free building in May 2021. Smoking and vaping is prohibited in all indoor common areas including balconies and terraces. Only residents who were granted legacy status (previously referred to as "grandfathered") may continue to smoke. Cannabis is not allowed on the property at any time. 

Rentals: Owners can rent their units. Short term rentals (executive rentals or AirBnb-type rental services) are not allowed at any time. 

Building Age: Occupancy began in April 2003. 

Building condition: Excellent. As of June 2021, no major repairs or building upgrades are planned. 

Property value: The Parkside is a much sought-after building and one that is highly praised by realtors. Our maintenance fees remain low and our units have steadily earned above-average year-over-year value increases.

Unit sizes:  Suites range in size from just under 600 sq feet to over 1000 sq feet, with suite styles including 1bdm, 1brm+den, 2 bdrm, and a single 2bd/2bath +den unit. 

Parking: Many units include a parking spot, while others do not. From time to time, residents offer their parking spots for rent.
